Muscle Shoals Christmas Parade	November 30th \| 7pm	Muscle Shoals	We have officially entered the month of our Christmas parade! We look forward to this night every year and want to personally invite you to join us in getting into the holiday spirit. Come see Santa, local businesses, school bands, clubs, and sports teams, along with the lovely people of the Shoals area. The Shoals Chamber skating rink at City Hall will be up and running AND SMASHED + Gholston’s BBQ + Flashy Funnel Cakes + Gingerhead Bakery + Smile Beverage Co. will be hanging out ready to serve you. Mark your calendars because we don’t want you to miss this special night in Muscle Shoals!
Holiday Decorating with Nature	December 1st \| 1pm- 3pm	Belle Mont Mansion in Tuscumbia	Join us on December 1st to learn how to make holiday décor using fresh greenery. Participants will learn to make a garland, door swag, and wreaths. First Fridays	December 1st \| 5:30pm- 8pm	Downtown Florence	First Fridays is the perfect place to get some of your Christmas shopping done! The street will be lined with handmade items such as exquisite artisan crafts and folklife art, all from local vendors. You’ll find something special for everyone on your list! While you’re at it, don’t forget to stop and visit one of downtown’s delicious restaurants.
Every Light a Prayer for Peace	December 1st \| 5pm	Pope’s Tavern in Florence	The Florence Garden Council and the Florence Department of Arts and Museums will host the annual “Every Light a Prayer for Peace” program at Pope’s Tavern Museum. The children’s choir from Riverhill Elementary will perform. The program is to honor our veterans and those currently serving our country. Following the program, everyone is encouraged to attend the other events of Florence’s First Friday to start the holiday season.
Lighting of Wilson Park	December 1st \| 6pm	Wilson Park in Florence	Join us in the heart of downtown as we kick off the Christmas season with the Lighting of Wilson Park. Families are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas as we enjoy a performance from Forest Hills Show Choir and special appearances by Santa Manley and The Grinch.
Ice Skate Days with Judge Hays	December 1st: 3pm- 8pm \| December 2nd: 10am- 8pm	Muscle Shoals Amphitheater	Circuit Court Judge Mitch Hays believes in giving back and supporting the organizations and families of Colbert County and events that bring us together. Judge Hays is proud to partner with the Shoals Chamber of Commerce in sponsoring two days of ice skating during Dashing Through the Shoals. Alabama Chanin Holiday Market	December 7th \| 3pm – 6pm	The Factory Store @ Alabama Chanin in Florence	Enjoy small bites and coffee provided by All the Best. Polar Express PJ Party	December 8th, 9th, 15th, & 16th	Pinspiration the Shoals in Muscle Shoals	Hop aboard the Polar Express at Pinspiration Station! It’s time for Pinspiration the Shoals first Polar Express Pj Party! Wear your favorite PJs and head to the studio for a creative and fun-filled event. Each child will paint a holiday themed ceramic, make a bell necklace, and a snow globe. Each child will also be able to make their own hot cocoa at our hot chocolate bar and a sweet treat. Tickets are $36 per child, $10 deposit taken now and the rest of the balance will be taken at the studio during the event ???? This event is for people aged 3+, but the bell still rings for all that believe ???? Accompanying parents/guardians get in for free.
