Muscle Shoals Street Rod Festival | June 1st

• Discover automotive history and marvel at the sleek designs of over 300 gleaming street rods and vintage classics at Alabama's premier annual festival, located at 1 Spring Park Rd in the heart of Spring Park, Tuscumbia. Taking place on the first Saturday in June, this event hosts one of the state's largest antique and street rod car shows, featuring vehicles dating back to 1972 and older.

Ritz Theatre Summer Camp | June 3rd- 7th
• The Ritz Theatre, Sheffield
• The Ritz Theatre Summer Camp is instructed by Jaleesa Escott and administered by the Tennessee Valley Art Association. They will learn the basics of stage performance and character development as they spend the week rehearsing a short stage play, developing characters, creating sets, finding costumes, and learning blocking. The end of the camp will result in a small production for family and friends to attend.

2024 UNA Summer STEM Camp | June 3rd- 5th
• Univerity of North Alabama
• The three-day, two-night residential camp will incorporate project-based learning, will promote scientific inquiry and the application of mathematics and technology in the context of experimental design, problem solving, technical briefing and report writing. Camp instructors are members of the UNA faculty. Students will build confidence, competence, and community through STEM activities.

The Miracle Worker (Alabama's Official Outdoor Drama) | Friday & Saturdays June 7th- July 20th (except July 4th)

• Performed at the outdoor theater on the grounds of the historic Helen Keller Birthplace, William Gibson's play The Miracle Worker recalls the childhood of the deaf-blind child, who became known as "America's First Lady of Courage", and her gifted teacher, Anne Sullivan. See the world of communication open to Helen at the very spot where the miracle took place. The outdoor drama is the longest consecutively running drama in the state. This annual performance is held on Friday & Saturday evenings from June to mid-July. Gates open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 8 pm. Concessions are available.

Junior & Advanced Art Camp | July 8th- 12th
• Tennessee Valley Museum of Art
• Students will develop fundamental skills while exploring multiple mediums such through engaging art experiences. The Junior Artist sessions will be led by veteran artists & art instructors. Each instructor is accompanied by assistants to allow as much direct contact with the students as possible. This year's junior camp class will be divided into two groups: 3rd & 4th graders and 5th & 6th graders. Students only supply their own bag lunch, TVMA provides supplies. Students should wear play clothes that may get dirty; we will be using many different art materials.

2024 Wildwood PBR Adventure Triathlon |July 20th

• The 1st Annual Wildwood Paddle Bike Run Triathlon will take place on July 20th 2024. The event will include a 5 mile paddle down Cypress Creek, a 5 mile mountain bike ride, and a 5K trail run at Wildwood Park.
